Expertise

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience, licensed for independent practice by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. My work focuses on helping individuals navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and stress. I believe that everyone has the strength to overcome life’s difficulties, and I’m committed to helping clients explore these strengths in a compassionate and supportive environment. My approach centers on recognizing your own resilience while understanding the patterns that may be holding you back from reaching your goals.

I believe that two key elements contribute to a fulfilling life: meaning and self-awareness. “Meaning is what helps us paint a vivid picture of the lives we want, giving a sense of where we are and where we want to be. Self-awareness helps us see the patterns that take us closer to, or farther from, the destination in that picture.”

In my practice, I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), along with Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed therapies, and mindfulness approaches. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centered framework, allowing me to tailor my methods to meet your unique needs.

I have extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients, including first responders and medical professionals. As a neurodivergent individual, I welcome clients who are neurodivergent and provide a space where you can explore your experiences without judgment.

In our sessions, I aim to create an authentic and connected environment where you feel safe to be yourself. My goal is to support you in living the life you desire and becoming the person you aspire to be.
